Quarts Watch Service & Watch Movement Repair
If your watch doesn’t work after a battery replacement or it doesn’t keep correct time, it means that the watch movement needs to be fixed. Regardless of the problem our watchmakers will investigate the movement of the watch, diagnose the problem and discuss and advise on the repair options.
Quartz watches, which are battery-powered and regulated by quartz crystal vibrations, have mechanically mobile parts. As the watch ages, lubricants that make mechanically moving parts, such as gear train, calendar function and adjustment mechanism work perfectly, begin to undergo chemical decomposition. This affects the perfect harmony of the movement, which then causes your watch to decline in accuracy. This is why maintenance is necessary.
The maintenance of a quartz Watch consists of:
Dismantling
Inspection
Replacement
Replacing parts that are defective.
Reconstruction & Lubrication
Inspection of Components
Inspecting the circuit that feeds the crystal and stepper motor and testing the watch with specialised timing equipment.

Mechanical and Automatic Watch Service
A mechanical watch contains small, constantly moving gears, connecting components, miniature screws and delicate springs. As a watch ages, the lubricants, which make these parts work together perfectly, begin to undergo chemical decomposition. This affects the perfect harmony of the movement, which causes a decrease in the accuracy that your watches keep time.
From our professional experience, we found that mechanical watches need to be serviced professionally every four to five years to maintain peak performance. Anything above five years could cause unnecessary stress on continuously moving components that could truly cause avoidable damage to the watch. Therefore, regular maintenance by a professional watchmaker is essential to preserve your luxury timepiece.

Watch Pressure Testing
We recommend that your waterproof and water-resistant watches get pressure tested when we change your battery. This is a very important process; as if you wear your watch whilst doing activities such as diving or in activities, your watch will be in regular contact with water. A completely water-resistant watch is guaranteed a longer life span and good functionality.
During the process our watchmakers change your battery, test your watch in our newest pressure testing equipment and will carry out a complete inspection of your watch. This guarantees that all the components in the watch including seals and gaskets are in perfect condition.
The water-resistant seal of a watch suffers deterioration and dries out the older it gets, especially if you wear your watch when doing sport relevant activities or if the watch is regularly in contact with water.
During our inspections, if we notice that your watch requires a new seal, we will inform you and with your consent we can install a new seal for an additional cost.
Crown Replacements
If the crown of your watch is lost or damaged, our specialist workers will investigate your watch and advise you on the best solution to repair or replace your crown.
If the crown on the watch needs to be changed and you wish for us to replace it with an original crown from the watch brand, we can order one from the manufacturer of your watch and replace it for you.
We have a variety of crowns available in our inventory available and we can find the best option to leave you with the best suited crown for your watch.

QuickTurnaround
Perri provides a level of care, attention to detail and artistry to what he does that is second to none. All this on top of being a thoroughly nice guy!
I found Perri by chance as I needed to have my vintage Omega serviced. This watch belonged to my recently deceased father so has great emotional value to me – Perri took me through the options and made sure that I was fully updated at every stage. He is upfront about all potential costs, and genuinely cares about providing amazing customer service.
The end result is amazing with a full sympathetic restoration and service that’s left this watch looking stunning for years to come. I couldn’t recommend him more.
