Servicing Your Watch

Quartz watches have been developed to provide a lifetime of accurate and reliable service. However, every two or three years, or whenever you change the battery, you should visit an authorized Seiko dealer or an official After Sales Service.

Metal bracelets should be thoroughly washed with water. If they are very dirty, use a toothbrush with soft bristles with soap and water to remove the dirt. Finally, rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

It does not normally affect digital quartz watches, but it may affect analogue watches, which usually use a small electric motor to move the hands. This motor can be affected by strong magnetism.

Shocks: your watch is a precision measuring instrument. Handle with care. Avoid undue shocks (such as falls on hard surfaces).
